The Basics
Is TapMogul free to play?
Yes — completely free. TapMogul has no in-app purchases, no premium currency packs, no subscription, and no paywall on any feature. The game is funded entirely by optional rewarded video ads. You decide if and when to watch one in exchange for an in-game bonus.
Does TapMogul work on mobile?
Yes. TapMogul is built mobile-first and runs in any modern mobile browser — Safari on iPhone or iPad, Chrome on Android, and any Chromium-based mobile browser. For an enhanced experience you can install it as a Progressive Web App from your browser's "Add to Home Screen" or "Install app" option, which gives you a full-screen icon launcher and offline-capable play.
Do I need to create an account?
No. The game runs entirely in your browser and saves automatically to local storage. There is no sign-up form, no email collection, and no password required. If you decide later that you want to appear on the global leaderboard, you can claim a Mogul identity from the settings drawer — that's just a display name and an emoji avatar, with no real-world identifying information attached.
Power Moves & Ads
How do Power Moves work?
Power Moves are five optional rewarded video ads available from the main game screen. Each one offers a different in-game bonus: 2× income for 5 minutes, 5× tap power for 3 minutes, an instant cash drop, a free generator unlock, or a cooldown skip. Tap the button, watch the video, and the bonus is credited automatically when the video finishes. You are never required to watch a Power Move to play — they are pure upside, opt-in only.
Why do I see an ad before claiming a Power Move reward?
TapMogul is funded by advertising. The ad is the trade. You're choosing to watch a short rewarded ad in exchange for an in-game bonus that would otherwise cost you minutes or hours of grinding. If you dismiss the ad before it finishes, the reward is not granted — but there is no penalty. The button simply comes off cooldown and you can try again, or skip and keep playing without the bonus.
Saves & Support
Is my progress saved?
Yes. The game auto-saves to your browser's local storage every few seconds, so closing the tab won't lose your progress. If you claim a Mogul identity, your save is additionally synced to the cloud under an anonymous Firebase account, which means you can switch between devices without losing your empire. You can also export a backup of your save as a text string at any time from Settings → Export Save.
How do I report a bug or give feedback?
Email support@playtapmogul.com. Real humans read the inbox and we usually ship a fix within a week. To make life easier for everyone, please include: what you were doing when the bug happened, your device (e.g. "iPhone 14, iOS 18.2"), your browser, and a screenshot or short screen recording if you have one.
